nex•us + camp•nex has partnered with Kids Artistic Revue to offer our our weekend workshops.
Kids Artistic Revue is also known as K.A.R. Productions or K.A.R. for short. We are proud to be entering our 36th dance competition season. Kids Artistic Revue was founded and headquartered in Southern California by Rick Lands, owner and director of a successful dance studio. During our first six years, our regional competitions where hosted solely in California. In 1988, our first National Finals were held in Las Vegas, Nevada. The following year, K.A.R. rose to a national level by hosting ten events in six states across the United States. Twenty Four years later, we are scheduled to host 88 regional events in over 35 states and 6 National Finals! We were one of America's first established dance competitions and have quickly become one of America's largest and most widely recognized.
As a leader in the industry for the past 20 years, Rainbow National Dance Competition is thrilled to begin a new and exciting season! Rainbow has been called "the competition with a heart" for a good reason. Rainbow has never lost sight of the fact that its success is owed to the hard working teachers and studio owners that appreciate a fair, fun, organized, and on-time competition. From its low-stress environment, unique awards, three levels of competition, online registration, and state of the art judging and scoring, Rainbow aspires to deliver a quality event to dancers, directors, teachers and parents alike. Rainbow prides itself on creating an ambiance where studio owners, teachers, students and parents will thrive. Nurturing our youth in the competitive field of dance takes effective communication, organization, and a supportive atmosphere. Rainbow has a reputation of creating that positive environment for dancers of all levels.
Dancers Against Cancer provides financial support and inspiration to dance educators, choreographers, dancers and their families who have been impacted by cancer. The "I'm A Dancer Against Cancer" campaign was founded in 2012 to spread awareness. It quickly became a sign of hope and unity in the dance community. In 2014, Dancers Against Cancer became an official 501(c)3 created to provide financial support to dance educators, dancers and parents impacted by cancer. To date, the charity has proudly raised $1 million dollars in donations and has assisted many dancers in need. Dancers Against Cancer is grateful for the support of the dance community and will continue to make a difference in the lives of dancers fighting cancer.
