Project Motivate is an intimate business and motivational seminar for dance school owners and teachers.

Rhee Gold’s frank, revealing, and often humorous presentations have been inspiring dance educators worldwide for more than a decade. His seminars are designed to inspire you to become the best teacher, business person, and mentor you can be. Gold’s experience as the son of a school owner, student, teacher, choreographer, master teacher, industry leader, author, publisher, and the dance field’s first motivational speaker will leave you with a renewed sense of passion and confidence.

Whether you want to generate more income, learn new strategies for 21st century marketing, become better organized, learn new teaching and choreography concepts or you simply need some inspiration, this seminar will change the way you look at your business and the life of a dance teacher . . . guaranteed!

We invite parents to join our Directors for an open forum discussion and Q & A session. Ask any questions you may have about your dancers, your studio, Nex•Us and Camp•Nex, or the dance world. Feel free to ask any questions and give feedback.

ParentVUE: Sunday, 9:15AM in the Seminar Room

*There is no fee to come support your fellow dancers
*For questions, please email

Friday, March 8th
3:00 - 4:00PM

All registered participants are eligible for scholarships! Dancers may pick up a number during check-in. We do not have a traditional closed audition. Instead, the Faculty choose to reward dancers who catch their eye in classes- whether it’s recognizing technique, drive, style or enthusiasm. This process not only permits more class time, but also allows for a controlled, creative, casual atmosphere. We ask that you wear your scholarship number throughout the entire weekend so each faculty can get the chance to see you during your class performance! We will announce our winners at the Scholarship Ceremony on Sunday.

Join us Saturday night for Camp•Nex Pajama Jamm! Camp•Nex Staff will host games, contests, relays and more. Wear your favorite PJs and be ready to dance and have fun! Please be mindful when choosing your pajamas- remember you will be dancing!

“Process (noun); A series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end.”

This will be a shortened version of Dean Lee’s  'The Process' intensive program which runs annually in London. During the workshop Dean will deliver an eclectic mix of styles geared towards developing a bespoke piece of work. The performers will then spend time as a company in open conversation with Dean during the final section of the workshop: 'Personal Process'. The program aims to ensure performers understand the values of being a true dance artist, the discipline, strength and tenacity that is expected & necessary to be a professional dancer heading into the industry. The performers are guided and equally encouraged to express themselves within the choreography given to develop their own personal artistry.

Price: $125 | OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

This event is too exciting not to capture on film! Our professional photographers and videographers will be onsite all weekend so be sure to check out the photos of yourselves to purchase.  We will provide photos and videos of our Nex•hibition as well as photos and videos from call.  We encourage you to capture photos and videos throughout the weekend to share socially as long as it is not disruptive to the shows or classroom.

It can be difficult to catch the Faculty in between classes for photos, so we have designed a great system ensuring that all dancers can have a Nex•Us and Camp•Nex photo in a timely and organized fashion! These are the only times we will host a group photo session with the faculty throughout the workshop. In order for this opportunity to run smoothly, we ask that you abide by the procedure created by the staff and faculty. Camp•Nex Photoshoot will be Saturday immediately following the last class in the Camp•Nex Room. The Nex•Us Photoshoot will be Saturday night immediately following the Nex•hibition. These photos are available to purchase online at NEXUS Photos & Videos.
